The newly Constructed Gender Office Building has been standing unused for several months now. According to the University Chancellor, Dr. Glenn D. Aguilar, this is because of a revision on the building that the University requires before occupation.
The part of the building in question is the ramp that leads to the second floor. The University requires that the ramp be changed into stairs. The reason behind is that the ramp constructed is too steep rendering it unsafe.
Asked if the said building is subject of any suit against the builders contracted by the DPWH (Department of Public Works and Highways), the Chancellor said that the University is not party to any suit involving the Gender Office Building.
The Chancellor further disclosed that as soon as the requested change is completed, the building will be promptly occupied and used.
